Rocky Mountain Whitewater Rafting Policies


Responsibility

When choosing a trip for you and your Idaho Springs whitewater rafting trip, be realistic about everyone’s abilities. Idaho Springs whitewater rafting is a thrill, but it’s also takes place at a high altitude. Anyone in your group that has any medical conditions, physical limitations, is pregnant or overweight, should consult a physician before attempting a raft trip. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we perceive to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or deem unfit for a raft trip. We also reserve the right to alter your scheduled trip without notice or allowance for refund.

Due to the inherent risks involved in rafting, all participants are required to sign an assumption of risk/release of liability waiver. All persons under the age of 18 require the completion of the waiver by a parent or legal guardian. Although we are fully licensed and insured, you participate in Idaho Springs whitewater rafting AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Reservation Policy

Reservations are highly recommended. However, we do accept walk-ins on a space availability basis. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to the departure of the trip. Any trip booked within 72 hours of the trip departure, require a full payment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the departure of the trip will receive a full refund, less a $10 per person processing fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the departure of the trip will not receive any refund. All trips depart as scheduled regardless of weather conditions. It is your responsibility to be at your trips designated outpost 15 minutes prior to your trip time. Please account for traffic, road construction, weather conditions, etc. There are no exceptions to this policy!

Trip Change Policy

Any changes made to an Idaho Springs whitewater rafting trip departure time, date, or river section will result in a $5 per person processing fee and will be subject to availability. There will be no changes allowed once within 24 hours of the departure of the trip. We reserve the right to alter trips based on river conditions.
